QCAD overlaps bottom of screen, cannot move it

Do you have a question you want to ask an existing QCAD user about QCAD and what you can do with it? Do you want to know if a particular feature exists? This is the place to ask.

QCAD overlaps bottom of screen, cannot move it

Post by BobKnobloch » Thu Jul 31, 2025 11:09 am

Hi, I have installed qcadcam (qcadcam-3.32.3-trial-linux-qt5.14-x86_64) on Opensuse 15.6 - KDE Plasma5.
The qcad window exceeds the lower boundary of the screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) so that it is not possible to get to the bottom of the window to drag it up. The top bar does not allow dragging and un-maximising the qcad window leaves the bottom of the window still not accessible.
That is the width can be changed but not the height.
Any ideas?

Please close some or all of the widgets at the right (layer list, block list, etc.). After this, you should be able to resize the application window or switch to full screen (Window > Full Screen).
