[solved] wrong style of dash dot lines

Post by rmolina » Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:34 pm

There is an old report in Debian BTS about qcad community having issues with dash dot lines.
The bug was reported for 1.4.14 and is confirmed on 2.0.5.0-1:
  • Select a non-continous line pattern in the toolbar dropdown dialog (i.e. "Dash Dot (large)")
  • Draw/Line/2 Points and draw one or more line segments
  • File/Print/Print to file (prints to "print.ps"),
All lines are solid in the created file "print.ps". The line pattern has disappeared.
Details on Bug#167869. Patches from community are welcome :)

Thanks

The line pattern is there, but it is very small scaled. Longer lines seem to be 0.24mm long and short ones, umm, very small :)

The rendering method used for display makes the scale look bigger but zoom in to see what happens.

I'm sure scaling can be corrected somehow.

EDIT: Scale depends on line width selected. Try 0.13mm for example. IMO case closed.
