Tutorial not up-to-date

Post by mbpcmeo » Mon Jan 05, 2015 3:16 pm

I'm following the tutorial on http://www.qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/dev ... rials.html but cannot see the new menu or action added. I wonder if this is because the tutorial is oudated ?

For example, there's no folder at scripts/Examples/DrawExamples, but instead Misc/Examples/DrawExamples
Also, the MyAction.js and MyScripts.js are in scripts/Misc/Tutorials/MenusAndToolBars instead of scripts/MyScripts/

Do you know where I can have an up-to-date tutorial ? This is a little bit frustrating when the first tutorial doesn't work out ...

Thanks for pointing out that the paths have changed. I'll update this.

The example code is up to date (automatically generated from working source code) and should work fine.

The complete example is actually included as a working tool in every QCAD installation under Misc > Script Examples > Draw > Three Points

Local source code:
scripts/Misc/Examples/DrawExamples/ExThreePoints

Online source code:
https://github.com/qcad/qcad/tree/maste ... hreePoints
