Whether it comes from my switching between the 3.23.02 snapshot and going back to 3.23.0.0 or not, don't know.
Anyway, since moving a dxf once from MAC 3.23.0.0 to WIndows 10 (first into community edition then into Pro), I get this warning when saving a drawing: (wondering why my image uploads are that large suddenly)
Why suddenly this (Teigha) DXF warning when saving

QCAD Community saves only in R15.
Open the drawing in QCAD Pro, launch save as and change in the dialog the typ to R27 or what ever suit your needs. Click OK.

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: Why suddenly this (Teigha) DXF warning when saving
I just updated to QCAD Professional and got this same message when opening a file created with QCAD Community.
What would be the best/recommended format to use with QCAD Professional? I am not going to use these files with any other program.

Re: Why suddenly this (Teigha) DXF warning when saving
Every QCAD community drawing will be saved in format R15.
If you work on it in QCAD Pro, clicks "Save", that warning pops up: Just say "No" ....
... and it will bring you to the "Save As" dialog:
In that dialog is the possibility given to change the format.
If you don't exchange the drawing with anybody else I would recommend to use the most current format. R32
If you exchange with other the dxf/dwg make sure to use a format what the other party is able to read too. Not all can do that ...
