autosave file location

Win7, Qcad V3.4.6 - I can find a fix FS#424 of 8Dec2011 but it does not describe the folder choice. The program Help and the Book do not mention this topic. So, what folder are the autosave files stored in with this version? Thanks

Autosave files are stored in the same folder as the original drawing or in the same directory as the QCAD3.ini file if the drawing has not been saved yet. This later location depends on the platform. Under Windows, it's something like:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Login Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\QCAD
Windows >= 7:
C:\Users\<Your Login Name>\AppData\Local\QCAD
Note that QCAD automatically handles auto save files. It asks you if you want to open the autosave file if you access the original drawing and a newer autosave version is available.
