hi everyone;
i recently swith to qcad pro witch is really great.
but I have a "problem(more a question)" with the isometric projection
i would like to be able to create a iso view for non square part (respectively 62 and 112deg)
i could find a way of doing it ..
so the question is : is it event possible ?
or how to calculate the matrix transformation for such thing ?
the question is hos to project the leg to fit at this angle
i'm sorry if the question in not revelant but i'm struggling and searching for hours now ...
you're my last hope
have a good day

Re: isometric projection for NON square parts
Hello zvevqx - welcome to the forum.
No - to my knowledge the current version of QCAD doesn't offers a "magical button" to design an isometric projection with using an angle between the main axis.zvevqx wrote:... so the question is : is it event possible ?
The best what I can think about would be to use the "old school" manual iso design technic ............... with a LOT of help lines.zvevqx wrote:... or how to calculate the matrix transformation for such thing ?
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: isometric projection for NON square parts
hi Husky;
thanks for the answer;
I was already made to the idea of doing it by hand..
I'll try to figure how to do the math for such transformation but for now.. just do it by hand and an army of construction line
have a good day
