[solved] Change Default Scale for Blocks

Post by 63alfred » Sun Dec 17, 2017 9:19 am

How do I change the default scale blocks come in at.

I created some blocks but when I try to reinsert them into a drawing they come in at 0.3333 scale. If I change the scale in the property editor to 1 the block is then fine but I cannot find how to make all the blocks come into the model space of the drawing at 1 instead of 0.3333.

Thanks

John

Hi John - welcome to the QCAD Forum.

When you launch the Insert command to insert a block an Option Bar will pop up with the possibility to define the scale.

If it doesn't pops up make sure it is activated below:

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Thank you very much Husky.

I have been using AutoCAD since 1989 and I find that once you modify QCAD for ones own taste and get familiar with some of the commands that are slightly different it is just as good if not better than AutoCAD for 2D drawings.

Thank you again for your support.

John
