layers, Error: Please check for block recursions

Post by rich999 » Mon Feb 04, 2019 8:05 pm

Ubuntu 18.04, Qcad 3.21.3.0 (3.21.3)

I am drawing a home outline on a lot. I have two versions of placement.

Can I draw one version on a layer, then turn off that layer and draw the other version on another layer ? The two versions do overlay each other, but when I print I would turn off one or the other layer.

Is there some reason I can't overlay on different layers ?

I get an error:

Transaction failed. Please check for block recursions and locked or invisible layers or blocks.

Yes, that will work.

Quite likely the active layer is locked. Check the Layer list for the red padlock. If that doesn't solves the issue please attach the drawing. Thanks.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
