Circle becomes Polyline - when does it happen?

I recall and I'm sure that I created all holes in my drawing as being circles. Now I notice that they have become Polylines (which makes it difficult to locate their centre points).

I suspect that it is not possible to revert that back, isn't it?

Could it be that the action "Segments to Poly" (OG) did that?

Hi. I guess you can't convert a poly back to a circle, but to find the center point, you could use Menu/Misc/Draw/Centerline (as described in a post recently). OR, you could select the circular poly and draw another circle (on a separate layer) based on 2 opposite points, then delete the original and change the new circle layer to the original layer???

There are two Qcad candidates that do that with a Circle:
The function Explode >> Geo Closed Poly 3 vertex 2 nodes bulging 180°
The function Poly from Selection >> Logically Closed Poly 2 vertex 2 nodes bulging 180°
(Look up: bulging can't be 360°)

And a third would be EAGLE: All entities in your recent file were Polys.

There is no way back.
Not that I know of.
Besides when the Undo in Qcad is within scope.

You could explode the 'round' Poly to two arc's with the same centerpoint as the original circle.

CVH

Sorry, I messed up that circle issue, and excuses for wasting your time. I was indeed starting from an import of EAGLE geometry instead working further on my initial QCAD-construction.
