[solved] How to create a custom shortcut?

I've seen a couple of references to custom shortcuts, but a search of the documentation doesn't turn up anything on how to create them. Can someone give me a quick pointer to this info?

QCAD 3.25.2.0 on OpenSUSE Linux

Edit > Application Preferences > General > Tool Settings
