Hi,
I Opened an old file, renamed it, deleted everything on Model Space and created my new drawing.
When I was finished I created a Viewport and assigned it to a paper space.
When I went to that paper space the Viewport from the old drawing was still there.
Why?
How do I get rid of it?
I am using QCAD Pro 3.25.0 in Windows 7.
Thanks for your help !!!

Re: Old Viewport in new file.
A viewport is an entity that is part of a layout block (paper space block) and displays a part of the model space. You can delete a viewport just like any other entity: select and delete.
Re: Old Viewport in new file.
Please be more specific.
When I open Select I don't see any Viewports to delete.
I have tried this on Model Space and Paper Space.
I have tried lassoing it and delete and this does not work.
Is there someway I can get a list of Viewports?
I appreciate your help.

Re: Old Viewport in new file.
I am feeling really dumb right now.
Working with the file and found the original drawing was still there.
Probably the result of an undo early in the drawing process.
Still have a question: Is there any way to get a list of Viewports?
Thanks,
Rickster

Re: Old Viewport in new file.
Selection Filter.
Type 'GF' if not visible.
Entity type 'viewport', Replace selection. (left icon)
This will select the viewports.
Remember to do this with layers not hidden, not frozen, with Blocks not frozen, in the layouts ...
