[solved] Change properties of all layers in 1x

Post by RaNoPlus » Tue Jan 12, 2021 7:53 pm

Hi, I have a question. How can I change properties of all layers in 1x? When I select all layers and click I can change only one (the one I click on). Is there any way how to do it? I just needed to change all colours in existing drawing into black. It's not easy when you have drawing with 80 layers :-(

1. Please make sure to configure the property editor to show layer properties:
Edit > Application Preferences > Widgets > Property Editor > Display properties of current block and current layer

2. Select all layers in the layer list (click the first layer, then press and hold the shift key and click the last layer)

3. In the property editor, change "Selection" to "Layer" and then change the color accordingly

In this example, we are setting the color of six selected layers to red.

You could change the properties in the Property Editor from color "by Layer" to color "black". Note: That will overwrite the layer setting - not change the layer attributes!

Select all layer - change the Property Editor to black.

If you just need it for print purposes - just switch the color mode in Print Preview to black/white.
