[solved] Default dimension prefixes?

Post by PeteG » Mon Aug 16, 2021 3:37 pm

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but how do I get, for example, the radius dim to automatically start with "R"? I can manually set each dim for it but that's a right pain when there are lots to do and I can't see a way to get it to do it automatically.

Hi,
Select all the dims that you want to alter in one go.
Edit the Label property to 'R <>' where '<>' is the placeholder for the measured value.

On creation one can set a presistent prefix in the Option Toolbar.

Ah I just saw it, when in "Radial DR" mode (or any other dimensioning mode), top-left of the screen is the "Label" tool bar which gives the option to set the prefix etc. Easy when you actually look at the screen lol!!
