label precision

Post by bambuko » Thu Aug 26, 2021 10:45 am

How do I (or is it possible) to set dimension label precision for individual dimensions?
i.e. I have set global precision to one place (0.0 and Show trailing zeros)
and that works fine for me for vast majority of the drawing,
but occasionally for an individual dimension I would like to change it to two places (0.00).

Hi,
Dimensions settings are global per drawing.

When only occasionally then you could edit the label text manually to anything (fixed) you like.

Thanks,
I was hoping that I was missing something e_confused
Sounds like I wasn't...

I already use the manual method for dual (metric/imperial) dimensions.
In this scenario metric dim is system driven and imperial is added manually (where needed).

I suppose you can't have everything

What about "Custom properties" BTW?

p.s. I have made suggestion here:
