From a QCAD user:
What does the statusbar at the bottom left display?

The coordinate display at the bottom left of the QCAD application window displays four sets of coordinates:

The first (top left) is the absolute, cartesian coordinate of the cursor (x,y).

Below that is the relative, cartesian coordinate (@x,y). That's the coordinate relative to the relative zero point (small red dot with crosshairs) which is automatically placed at the last used coordinates or can be set at any location.

At the top right, the absolute polar coordinate is displayed in the format distance<angle. For example 5<30º would indicate that the cursor is 5 units away from the absolute zero point at an angle of 30º.

At the bottom right, the relative polar coordinate is shown, relative to the relative zero point and again as distance and angle (@distance<angle).

If you find it hard to remember these, note that the < stands for angle and the value after it is always an angle. @ stands for relative which is also the standard notation for entering relative coordinates in CAD.

You can also hover your mouse cursor over the numbers and a tooltip will show up with an explanation.
