Solved thanks-Lock Snap - SQ

Post by amsmarle » Thu May 12, 2022 6:03 pm

Hello, I have Qcad Pro - windows 10
Please can you explain how and when and how I might find Lock Snap to be most helpful
I use the line tool - 'line from 2 points' and find when the drawing becomes larger, snapping to intersections, middle or end sometimes the drawn line
is not at right angles (straight)

Thanks for any advice

Alan

QCAD will reset a chosen snap when switching to an other tool. If you like to avoid that you can lock the chosen snap.

Right angle to what? Could it be that you meant horizontal / vertical? To have a perfect horizontal or vertical line you can use the restrictions (EH, EV) or alternative the ALT key on your keyboard. How? Line / first point / press and hold ALT key / second point.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
