Hello
I'm about to go crazy when creating PDF from QCAD: every time the font in the PDF is compressed. This only happens on my desktop computer, on the laptop this effect does not occur (laptop is too slow for cad though...). which routine is used for the PDF export (save as)? Can settings be made there? Is my error related to the embedding of fonts in the PDF? effect occurs both with arial and e.g. with the font "Bahnschrift". Can you help me further? I have the feeling that it has to do somewhere with an interface between windows and QCAD.
Both computers Windows 10.
QCAD professional 3.26.4.0 (3.26.4)
Thanks a lot and best regards, Greg

Re: Pdf export compresses text
I can reproduce the problem here under Windows. Unfortunately, this seems to be a problem with the font in combination with Windows, the Qt libraries or other dependencies. I couldn't reproduce the problem with another font (for example Arial).
One possible workaround is to render texts as paths:
Edit > Application Preferences > Graphics View > Text Rendering > Render texts as paths
Note that this way text is rendered and exported as geometric paths, so the PDF no longer contains any text elements.
