How to solve trouble with copy?[SOLVED]

Post by jooogger » Sat Jun 18, 2022 7:13 pm

Making any copy any of entity "copywithrefence" (RC) or "copy" (CP), then paste generated no copy but dot(?) line with length = 0. That dot can't be selected by mouse-direct-click, only can be selected by mouse's drag-"group select". Seems, draw is broken. How to repair? How to properly copy any entities? How to avoid convert copy of entities to such dot-"length=0"?

upd. "Paste scale" were 0.

I can't reproduce the issue.
Where is this Zero lengths entity coming from? Do you copy/paste a line? What is the paste scale?
To get rid of all "Zero lengths entities" use below Menu / Modify / Detection / the "Detect Zero lengths Entities" tool.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Catch a video with bug(?).

Just select line; copy with reference; paste at other point; not a line, but dot length = 0.

Hi,

Not the first time I will be the advocate that scale = zero should be considered invalid.
Although mathematically correct, I see no practical meaning for this.
