Post by Graham » Thu Aug 25, 2022 11:46 am

Hi All
Win 11 and latest QCAD
Is it possible to open a much used big detailed drawing in the last viewed or worked area instead of the whole drawing?
just to make life easier!!
Thank You

Hi,

Not that I know of ... A drawing opens in Model_Space and auto zoomed.
There was recently already a question to open a drawing in the latest layout view ...

One can save more than one views with a drawing: View menu .. Stored Views .. Add View (VA).
There is the View List (GV).

With one to more clicks you can get the stored view back.

Regards,
CVH

Yes. In Application Preferences deactivate the option "Auto zoom on load" and relaunch QCAD. Drawings will then be open with the zoom factor there was saved with.

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
