Hi, is it possible to unlink a block from the layer on which the elements that form the block originally existed.
I have a drawing with a level ELEKTRA, from this layer I selected a few elements, then activated the MEERWERK layer and created the block (BC), but when I disable the ELEKTRA layer, the block just disappears, even when MEERWERK is still active (when not it also disappears, I would expect that)
Because I'm using the layers to show changes I want to be abel to just activate the layer displaying my changes, thus having a clear view of them (without the old stuff also showing)

Re: Unlink block from layer
Your block reference has been created on layer "MEERWERK". The block contents is on layer "ELEKTRA". I can confirm that both layers need to be on for the entities in the block to be visible. Since each entity has to reside on exactly one layer, this is expected behavior.

Sandmman,
"unlink", no, that is not possible, but you can move them.
Edit the block (BE or double click it), select your entities an change the Layer property.
