Problem creating a Hatch; Bug, or is it me?

I am relatively new to QCAD, pardon any terminology that is somewhat off.

I have a drawing that I imported from a manufacturer, converted from .dwg

I have been working on it, quite well, with QCAD2.2

There is a contour I need to highlight with a hatch, I followed the ebook procedure.
1. Select contour on main layer
2. Copy and paste to Hatch Outline layer
3. Select the contour on Hatch Outline Layer
4. Make Main layer active
5. Make Hatch with Hatch tool

Procedure works fine in QCAD2.2
When I try same in QCAD3Beta3, I get an error message in the console window: Loop not closed at point x1,y1

Back in the Hatch Outline layer, if I select the two adjacent entities one by one and zoom way in, the end points of both entities, shown individually, shows as x1,y1 in the coordinate window.
If I select both adjacent entities (two of 12 in the total contour) and mouse over the intersection, the blue square intersection point shows as x1,y1.

Is there a precision setting I need to modify, or is this perhaps a bug?

I really like the QCAD3 GUI and information layout.
Alas, just when I figure out hatches I can't make them work!

Could you send the drawing (or only the problematic contour in it) to info [at] ribbonsoft [dot] com, so we could have a look? Thanks.

There are minor gaps between the lines and arcs (~0.001). QCAD 2 tolerates these but QCAD 3 not. This will likely be improved for QCAD 3 final.

I was able to hatch the area after recreating the arcs with QCAD (Modify - Round).
