Hi,
I think this is a bug, but could someone else confirm :
Type some text;
Edit the x-scale = 0.75;
Notice that the text has shrunk to 75% width;
Save the drawing;
Notice the text is still at 75% after the save;
Close the drawing.
Re-open the drawing;
Now the text is back at 100% width, x scale is now 1 again.
Block Attributes do the same;
DWG or DXF, same problem;
Running Windows 7, with Qcad 12.1,

Yes, I can confirm this for simple texts. As an immediate workaround, you might want to change the property "Simple" to "No".
