Please help...
I've recently downloaded and for some reason every time I try to Save or Save As I am forced to shut down. I uninstalled & reinstalled and the same issue happens. I'm using Windows 7 Pro

Is the file save dialog displayed before that or not at all?
If not, you might want to disable (uncheck) the use of the system file dialog under
Edit > Application Preferences > File > Load/Save > Use system file dialog

The file save dialog does not display at all, it stalls for a minute and then then I am forced to shut down.
I unchecked the file dialog option, and I still get the same result.

Thanks for the details.
Do you have any network drives or external drives you could disconnect to check if any of those might cause the issue?
