Exception occured

Post by TSG » Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:38 am

I've a problem with a AutoCAD-file in QCAD.
After loading the drawing I cannot save it. Instead opens an error message: "Exception occurred. Entity NOT saved: 80972d6"
What can I do to find the entity 80972d6 ?

Please help.

You can select an entity based on its handle using Misc > Select > By Handle.

If you cannot identify the problem, please
- indicate the operating system you are using and the version thereof
- indicate the exact version of QCAD you are using (see Help > About or QCAD > About QCAD)
- attach original drawing files (DXF, DWG, ...) if appropriate
- include screenshots if appropriate

Hi Andrew,

thanks for your reply. "Misc > Select > By Handle" is what I have been looking for.
