Print Preview issue (Print Curent View works instead)

Product- Current QCAD Professional/Windows 10 Home x 64

Haven't gotten past page 28 of QCAD book (version 3) and having an issue.

When printing manual instructs to choose File > Print Preview and QCAD will show drawing as it will be printed. But instead of white print area, it shows drawing on grid (black background) with small image of paper area in lower left corner. Prints blank page when in Print Preview.

If I switch to Print Current View it does show the drawing on white background with orientation on page and will print.

Why are commands not working as written?

Hi,
sounds like something went wrong and you're right now trying to print a multiple page drawing ...

Try this:
launch "Print preview",
look in the option bar for single page (1) - click on it,
look in the option bar for "Autofit drawing to page" - click on it,,

There are a few more steps needed but is it already looking better?

Hi Husky,

Thanks for getting back to me. Here is the screen that appears when I select Print Preview:

Print page is at lower corner and rectangle is outside of it. I don't see Options to adjust.

My purchase of QCAD was written over the free version and I was not given the option to set default and user interface language. Can I reset to original default?

Line type is not working now. All lines are solid regardless of setting in individual layers (dash, dash-dot, etc.) Could this program I have be corrupted?

Ok, that could be the reason why you have problems! Please note - never mix QCAD installation in the same subdirectory.

To come back on track I recommend to delete the current QCAD installation, install QCAD again and reset the QCAD configuration. How to reset is explained on this side:

That seems to have fixed my issues, all functions have been working as per the QCAD book.

Thank you Husky for the help and quick response. I've been on a few support forums for tech related products but so far this one is by far the best experience I've had.
