Andrew,
Could it be that somewhere in the Qcad core there is a limit on the
decimal digits for the dY (offset) section of a definition entry in a pattern file?
It seems I can not parse anything more precise as up to 12 decimal digits....

QCAD uses the C++ "double" type for all floating point values.
