[Solved] Mirror problem

Post by RobB » Mon Nov 15, 2021 8:54 pm

The right side of the attached drawing is mirrored from the left and shows a curious displacement of some small lines.
The original from the web was full of duplicate lines (about 6000...) - which I removed - and I replaced all curves with circle segments to reduce the complexity.
Still I don't manage to make mirroring correct. It seems to happen with short lines near curves.

Your drawing contains Z coordinates (3D), please flatten with Misc > Modify > Flatten Drawing to 2D

Hi Rob,

Have a closer look at (344.83, 115.9929) or entity with handle: 0x780a
Zoom in deep.
There are more of such and there are (near) Null-length entities too.

Regards,
CVH

Hi CVH,
Thanks. Shows that any download from the web needs some checking...
Anyway, I deleted it after redrawing by hand. Looks tidy now.

Robert
