MacOS 12.0.1
QCAD 3.26.4.9
Macbook Pro with M1 Pro Chip
In Edit>Application Settings>General>Tool Settings it is showing that the Add Viewport tool is supposed to be visible in the CAD Toolbar, however, I am not seeing it anywhere within the CAD Toolbar. Does anyone know where this tool should show up if it's turned on in the CAD Toolbar? I always just use the keyboard shortcut but I thought it might be nice to have the icon show up for my students.

Re: Add Viewport in CAD Toolbar
Ryan,
Indeed, agreed, I have the same issue with a few other (custom) buttons too.
[Viewport] VisibleInMenu=true was missing in my ini although it appears to be set in App.Prefs. .. Tool Settings
The rest seemed ok.
Cleared all (4 each) for VT & WT in the Tool Settings.
(What does the WT shortcut do? It isn't listed: https://qcad.org/archives/shortcuts/shortcuts_en.pdf)
Setting all back led to this: But that disappears after reboot or when I pick up the CAD Toolbar and re-dock.
Only the VT button appears on the Draw Viewport Toolbar and off course in the ToolMatrix.
I know the WT icon from somewhere in the past but I can't locate that at this point.
Regards,
CVH

Re: Add Viewport in CAD Toolbar
Confirmed. Not all tools have a place in the CAD tool bar or an icon.
You could enable the appropriate tool bar to add the Add Viewport tool to the tool bar collection:
View > Toolbars and Widgets > Toolbars > Draw > Viewport
Note also that there are two user defined toolbars ("User Tool Bar 1", "User Tool Bar 2") which can be used to show any tool with an icon.

Re: Add Viewport in CAD Toolbar
Thank you for the info. I have been thinking about doing a custom toolbar with several tools my students use a lot so that might be the direction I go.
