Gday,
I've downloaded the free version of QCAD,unzipped and saved it. I am unable to see how it is launched.
There appears to be no icon on my desktop, nor can I find any files that look like they might start the program.

All advice will be gladly accepted and acted upon.

I'm assuming you're on Windows.

Download and install the installer instead. Double-click the installer once downloaded to install QCAD. The installer will create a desktop icon, etc. for you:
