completely stuck!

Post by edward » Mon Feb 16, 2009 11:08 pm

A few weeks ago Qcad crashed on my Mac osX 4. Afterward, everytime I tried to open Qcad, I got a blank screen, grey (inactive) icons, and the 'in process' icon kept turning, and that was all what happened. Enforced stop, re-open program: same happens, again and again. So, I removed Qcad from my computer, reinstalled it from my cdrom, opened it, resulting in the same problem! What am I to do now?

Your QCad.ini file is garbled. It will not be replaced by a new installation of QCad.
You have to delete it manually as described in http://www.ribbonsoft.com/qcad_doc_faq.html#7
QCad will create a new one on next startup.
