Hi,
I am a retired mechanical engineer and I've lived and worked in Silicon Valley California for 40 years. I stopped designing stuff before I had a chance to use any CAD software at work. I have used Autodesk software for some small projects.
I retired in 2009 and moved to Napa in the wine country after the traffic was getting bad in San Jose.
I now design small items for personal use. I am just starting to learn QCAD.

Welcome to the forum. You're gonna love QCAD :wink:
Once you get the knack, you will find it quite easy to use.
