move multiple objects and nodes

Post by edge » Sat May 20, 2023 9:42 pm

Hello,

We are looking into different 2D cad packages.
I was wondering, if it's possible, to move a couple of objects (some lines/circels) and some nodes to other lines.
In such way, the selected nodes from those other lines are also moving, but the unselected nodes keep at the same point.

With MV for instance, it's only possible to move one ore multiple objects. But it seems not possible to select multiple nodes or select some lines, so the nodes of the lines connected, are also moved?

Is this possible with the Profesional version?

Best regards,
Edge.

Using QCAD Community Edition V3.28/Win64.

Hello,

would "Stretch" (SS) work for you?

https://www.qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/re ... ro_en.html
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Tnxs for the quick reply.
Well, I get the point for the Strech command, but it doesnot work for my Community Edition..
Since the object is indeed streched, but the anchor points for the other objects are not.
(It seems to react the same like MV.)

Looking to your URL, it's stated: StretchPro, maybe only possible with Professional version?

Best regards,
Edge.

No - it will move partly an existing shape.

Maybe. The Professional QCAD version has more option regarding the Stretch tool. If you provide an example drawing (dxf) what the outcome has to be look like (before/after) then I can answer the question whether the Pro can accomplish that task ..... or not.
