Dash-dot line with extremity thick
How can I represent a line for cutting plane trace? The ISO 128-40 norm uses a line dash-dot thin with extremity thick but how can draw it?
Re: Dash-dot line with extremity thick
Hi fnas - welcome to the forum!
I recommend to set up a layer with the desired attributes ...
... then make it active and draw your lines.

Re: Dash-dot line with extremity thick
Hi Husky,
the norm ISO require that the cutting line, in a cut sectional view, is a mix line dash-dot. But, you can see in picture, that the line is a mix of thin and thick part. I have indicate in the picture with the red arrow the thick line and with a yellow arrow thin line. So I can't use the dash-dot line.
I can explain the problem with other words.
If I indicate the dash and dot line schematically with the letters "da" for the line - , the "do" for the point . and “wh” for the blank space “ “ and I use the lower case for the thin line and capital letter for thick line I can represent a dash and dot line
in this mode for the thin line:
da wh do wh da wh do wh da _ . _ . _
in this mode for the thick line
DA wh DO wh DA wh DO wh DA _ . _ . _
But the line in the picture is:
DA wh do wh da wh do wh da wh do wh DA _ . _ . _ . _
The line dash-dot that you show me start only with “da wh do” and end with “do wh da” So I have a surplus part, while I can’t draw the part “DA wh do” and “do wh DA”
