how to correctly build QCad from the source code?

Post by crixtiano » Sun Apr 01, 2018 2:58 pm

Hello everyone!

I downloaded QCAD source code and I downloaded Qt Creator 4.5.2.

But I feel a little lost when I look to QCad files.

May someone help me to configure Qt Creator to correctly compile and build QCad Source?

Thank you!

Friends, there was progress, but I got an error message! Can someone help me?

I opened "qcad.pro" in Qt Creator.

I configured Qt Creator to use "Desktop Qt 5.10.1 MinGW 32bit".

So, I cliked the mouse right button over "qcad" project and choose "Build".

I got this error mesage:

"Project ERROR: Script bindings not available for Qt version 5.10.1. You can add them to src/3rdparty/qt-labs-qtscriptgenerator-5.10.1 or use another version of Qt."

So, what this means?

Sorry - that isn't my wheelhouse but if you still challenge some kinds of problems consider to download a compiled QCAD Trial Version from this site:
http://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-downloads-trial

After installing the packet on your System you can delete the Trial Pro feature what makes it to a standard community edition ...
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
If a thread is considered as "solved" please change the title of the first post to "[solved] Title..."

I don't know why this is necessary.

I downloaded qcad-3.19.2.0.zip from https://codeload.github.com/qcad/qcad/zip/v3.19.2.0

Is there anything wrong with this source code I downloaded?
