Superposed line types.

Superposed line types.
Hello, when adding angular dimensions to existing lines, the line types of the dimension superposes to the line type of the line itself. When they are continuous no problem, but if they are dashed or doted then they do not superpose exactly and the result is random dash or sometimes results in a solid line... Is there a way around this please ?
Re: Superposed line types.
Not adviced, but you could select the dim. and displace the
squared extention references to the arrow references.
I don't know if there is a way back. I don't care.

Re: Superposed line types.
Hi, the dimensions are already in the arrow style, furthermore there is no arrow on the line overdrawing with the dimension, it's an angular dim.
Re: Superposed line types.
Visualized:
Select the red Dim and drag it to the intersection DimArc-Line.
Then you could aply extentions 0.00 in Drawing.Prefs

Re: Superposed line types.
Sorry, unable to understand the explanations.
Re: Superposed line types.
> Double click 'AngularDim.dxf' in this topic.
Qcad will start and open the file.
> Select the red Angular Dimension.
A small square box, a reference, will show in the orange circle.
> Pick this reference and drag it.
> Release it at the intersection of the line and the dimension measuring arc (and arrow).
You'r left with minimal reference lines as the white example.
> Open Drawing Properties (Ctrl+I)
> Under Dimension ... Dimension settings ... Size change Extension line Extension and Extension line offset to zero.
Now you don't have extension lines anymore.
Although not advised.

Hello,
check the Property Editor for "Fixed Extension Line",
change it to "yes",
check the Property Editor for "Extension Line Length",
change it to a very low value like 1, it has to be greater than 0,
Hit Enter or click on Model_Space and the dim will accept the changes ...

Re: Superposed line types.
Got it this time, thanks. As per CVH protocol it did not work, the dim text moved to the intersection while also rotating and nothing else happened. As per Husky, when clicking on YES for Fixed Extension Lines it immediately jumped back to NO, even if a value of 1 or whatever had been entered.
