This is a paper model of Castle Rising keep in Norfolk, England, one of the most famous 12th Century castles in England, built in around 1140 AD and is amongst the finest and most famous.This kit is designed to be printed, cut out, glued together and assembled. I have used QCAD to design the component parts and the assembly instructions. The rendering was done by using another program, QCAD has been used for 90% of this project.

Looks really cool Clive! Reminds me of when I was little. I used to assemble lots of these types of paper models, mainly for Swiss castles we visited.

Hi J-J, thanks. Yes quite a bit of work over the last few months. I am starting two more soon, again medieval buildings of significant historic interest.J-J wrote:Hi Clive,Nice project, must have been a lot of work!
@Andrew
Yes me too, used to make all types of models when I was a kid. Never thought i would design any though . It really is a satisfying process to go through.

Clive
