[solved] dimensions do not agree with measurements

Post by Freddiej2 » Wed Sep 05, 2018 2:30 am

I am designing in model space. Lines, measurements are 1/48th of the dimensions. The scale in model space is 1:1. Why are the dimensions off? I have not stated the scale to be 1.4"=1' and yet in the property editor, the dimensions have a linear factor of 48. When set to 1, the dimension reads correctly.
I do not know what to do to correct these dimensions. I do not want to change the liner factors of all of them to 1, that seems ridiculous. Just where does the property editor get the linear factor of 48 for any dimensions?

Two first thoughs on that:

1. Are your dimension precision settings correct?

2. Is your dim scale set to 1"=1"?

If that doesn't solves the issue please attache or PM the drawing. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback; how stupid of me not to see the options bar. Problem is resolved. Thanks.

Well, there are at least two stupid people :). I had the same issue on one of my drawings and couldn't figure it out until I saw this post. Thanks.
