Block Hatch anomaly?

Post by Panchdara » Mon Dec 23, 2019 1:24 pm

I can understand Andrews point in viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6831

Whilst making forward progress on a small drawing, I came across a scenario that is similar to that attached.

Same layer each entity
Create open block
close block with line
hatch
fail

Bug or by design?
Cheers

Hatch from segments works well and there is no reason why hatch from selection shouldn't work as well.
So I suggest to write a bug report.

I can confirm that this use case (boundary path elements partially from (different) blocks) is not currently implemented. I'd suggest to duplicate / explode the block for hatching.
