Echelle d'éléments de bibliothèqe

Post by Diamant40 » Tue Jan 02, 2018 10:00 am

Hello Diamant40,

may I ask you what is the drawing unit of your target drawing and what is the drawing unit of your library item?

Hello Husky !

Hi Diamant40,

in all mentioned cases the import option for scale is set to 1:1? If yes please attache one of your failing DVD items with a reference dimension to this post.

Hi Diamant40 - thanks for the example drawings.

Both drawings are with a Drawing Unit = none.
That means if you insert them (import or Library) they will convert to the actual target drawing unit.
If you have a mm drawing as a target drawing a e.g. 8 "none" unit for a line becomes a 8 mm line.
If you have a inch drawing as a target drawing a e.g. 8 "none" unit for a line becomes a 8 inch line.

It looks to me that this items meant to be mm and your target is also mm. Correct? In that case you have just to make sure that your insert option is set to 1:1 and it should work as expected.

Launching the Import-, Library-, or Block Insert tool will open an Option Bar where you can set the scale for the import. Please make sure it is set to 1:1

Thanks a lot Husky !
My imports are correct now ! Many hours spent to understand this scale problem.....
I worked for many years with VCAD without any problem, it's not so easy to change for a new tool as QCAD which seems also very performant.

Glad to hear that! :D

Yes - it is always hard to change a well known tool but sooner or later it will work alike the old one.
