I cannot login in my account

Post by Frank60 » Sun Apr 28, 2013 2:08 pm

I've been having trouble logging in in my account. I bought the software registering with a 25 character password, which was accepted by the software, since I could order and pay.... But when I later tried to login, the password was refused?!?
Then I reset the password and I could login again with the newly generated 8 character password.
But...when I changed this password on the website, it was refused again!!
This ahppened twice already. And I still cannot access the software in case of a re-download.
Not very reassuring...

I informed QCAD of this bug, but for the last three days nothing has changed.

I'd like to access the account and the software.

BTW: using a 25 character password on this forum has not created any problems.

Thanks,

Frank

Thanks for your report. I cannot reproduce that problem at the moment using a 25 character password. Perhaps the problem is something else? I can reproduce the behavior you have described with a password that contains spaces. I will report this issue to the makers of the shop software. For the meantime, please use a password that does not contain spaces, thanks.

There were no spaces in the passwords.
These two I tried: [Y(rWa84H)]PSXqY+>9v:XVp& and aJG*FKv/jj{MF4KV%L&z(7^Z{

I'd suggest a combination of lower case characters, upper case characters and numbers, length <30. It looks like the shop software can probably not handle anything more adventurous than that. Thanks.
