Hatches and Solid Fills

Post by rwn » Thu May 23, 2019 5:32 pm

I have created a wall detail, whereby I have inserted architectural symbols for gravel, earth and insulation. The symbols are clearly defined when enlarged on the screen. However, when I print the drawing, all the symbols are solid color and do not show the symbol detail. How do I get the symbol detail regardless of the scale used? Thanks.

Please attache the drawing or at least an example drawing which shows the issue with the hatch to this post. Thank you.

Thanks for the attached drawing.

What I see in model_space is created with solid hatch. The print shows the same. Which details are missing?

Sorry, I sent the wrong version. The attached file should show the symbols in black, not in color. So, my question is when you enlarge the drawing, you can see the detail of the symbols. Otherwise, they show as black boxes.

Yep - now we are talking

The hatch is to dense and the line weight needs maybe an adjustment too. Play with the hatch scale. Adjust it to 2, 3 or 4. You can do that with the help of the property manager.
Additional try to use a thinner line weight - should be done within the layer list.
