Legacy cam scripts behaving abnormally

I am using a legacy CAM script that is still working fine on the 2.21 version of QCAD-CAM
Something happened in the mean time to break the "Cut inner paths first" function.
Please see the two screenshots attached:

All the settings to create the two files are exactly the same.
