Greetings all, I have some site drawings I am doing on top of bitmap satellite images.
I fade the bitmap so the drawing stands out.
However when I export to PDF the fade is lost.
And advice?
I can just fade the images before I import them to qcad.
Thanks
Is it possible to Export bitmap fade?

Re: Is it possible to Export bitmap fade?
Nope - it isn't. Do you use a third party pdf creator?
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: Is it possible to Export bitmap fade?
Hi Husky thanks for your reply.
I am using the pdf export button on qcad 3.23
So your saying its not possible to export the fade?
I made a simple test drawing green.dxf using the canvas_green.png as a test bitmap.
I exported it as green50.pdf setting the bitmap to a 50% fade.
and exported as green.pdf with no fade.
They both look the same.
It appears bitmaps are stored separately from the dxf format.
I am a big fan of imagemagick and can use the command
to set a 50% fade etc.

Re: Is it possible to Export bitmap fade?
No, I said it is no problem to fade an image in QCAD Pro and export it then as a pdf.
