Hi!
I'm trying to draw a floor plan and would like to get room areas into the drawing automatically.
All the questions/answers I've found so far show that I can measure with the Information Tools -> Polygonal Area or Information Tools -> Polyline Area, but these just put the result into the command area.
Is writing the result into a text or some kind of measurement tool supported?
If not, what is the best practice for this?
Thanks,
Thomas

See Options Toolbar, use "Add measurement to drawing".

Re: Measure area and put result in drawing
I had clicked that before. Trying it again now I noticed that 'Text size' was set to '1' which was too small to be visible. After increasing that I get a visible text object with the size.
Thanks!
