Can't draw a line from Qcad in default state ?!

Post by Buntehuhn » Sun Dec 28, 2025 11:13 am

Running 3.32.5.0 (3.32.5) on W11

Have been happily drawing yesterday, but as from the first use today I cannot draw any sort of line in the drwaing I started yesterday (see attached).

What am I missing?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

On opening layer 'lasersnijdbaar' is the current active layer.
This attribute is stored in the DXF.

Most drawing tools draw on the current active layer.

Layer 'lasersnijdbaar' is set invisible and frozen and that means that you can not draw on it.
You should have noticed a red warning message in the Command Line history in the nature of:
'Transaction failed. Please check for block recursions and locked or invisible layers or blocks.'

Regards,
CVH
