FS#2503 - Modify Actions (scale / rotate ) "by mouse" checkbox option not retained between instances of use.

MacOS Sonoma, 14.1.1. MBP M1. / 3.28.2

When using SV / RO commands and using the checkbox to ‘use the mouse’ for scaling / rotating, then that setting is not retained at the next use. So every time the command is executed, a mouse move to check the box must be performed.

This is intended behavior. I’ve put this down as a suggestion.

Understood. I was confused because it works the opposite in 3.28.1 and also 3.27. Thx.

Andrew,
I have to agree with Tom Kyler.

QCAD.ini

  • [ScaleOptions] FactorByMouse=true
  • [RotateOptions] AngleByMouse=true

Record the last usage of these buttons.
IMHO both are persistent dialog settings and I don't find any recent code change in both related scripts to revert to not using the by mouse button as persistently stored.
Nor is there a change in Application Preferences for these methods.

Then I tested it in the trial version of QCAD/CAM 3.28.2.0 on Win7 32bit at hand (Used for  FS#2502 ) and these are indeed persistent settings just as I was used to.
I don't expect a different behavior with QCAD Pro.

Voted for it just to keep it as it is.

Regards,
CVH
