Apologies, I should have written no manual found using windows vista (on one of my computers at work!).
Using Windows 7-64, manual found, no problems.
It may be the same problem, is'n it ?

It doesn't even get that far. I click on reference manual and nothing happens at all.

QCAD 3.1.1 comes with a workaround which should avoid that problem by clearing the assistant cache before launching assistant.
